Yes JP I agree, but at the same tine it shows the problem with the maf and the sw limitations there are. It is hard controlling the smoke in some areas. With a normal car you'll probably never see it ...

What you see is (probably) the effect of a MAF running on the (software) limit.. It can not distinguish between full boost and 75% boost - thus allowing too much diesel

No hdi should smoke! Smoke means high EGT, this is especially critical on a stage1 that is not intercooled. But i guess the 'tuners' now don't really care they just want to show the most bhp on the ro...

The sendor is not able to messure the flow.

Iirc the 2.2 maf does not give you much more measurable flow. Fit the original sensor in a 3" housing, like the 2.8 housing.

Chris306, it easy to learn stage1 and 2, but learning how to do custom stuff is hard.

You will never master the smoke mafless on them. The needed maps are too small. Fit the original sendor in a bigger housing instead. 3" is a good size. :)

Yes, it takes time.. I've looked at the files for about 8 years now. I 'only' have about 400 identified and confirmed maps.. Still some way to go :)

I ran the jtd tips, much better spray than the AMG ones. Ran quiter than std tips and gave me better EOI and thus lower EGT.
