Hey all im looking for my iat sensor (inlet air temp) I drive a 306 1.6 v reg if anyone can help would be great

Don't think TUs have them do they? Just rely on the MAP sensor afaik.

Somewhere near the throttle body lol. Been a while since I've owned a TU so can't remember exactly though!

inlet temp sensor is on the bottom of the tb

depends on which throttle body you have but they're both on the bottom of the tb


2 pin black plug botto right on this one

^Preeeetty sure that's the throttle body heater element

The Inlet air temp will be on the air box it self. It's right on the 'lid' of the airbox, it'll be the only sensor with a plug going to it so you can't miss it.

sorry only using that old 1.4 tb to show position on a newer tb but if its in the airbox i stand corrected, not had a play with a newer 1.6 8v for a long time, deff newer 1.4 is in that same possition ( went out side in the dark to check) and assumed the possition was the same, as with the older ones

cheers for all the replies i have taken the original air box and found no plugs connected to it but will defo have a look at the tb because mine looks pretty much the same as yours even though its a 1.4
