306 Derv runaround
#1
Bought this while my 106 is having work done, all though don't reckon it will be going anywhere I love it already.

It has awful chav bits which are slowly going to go, wasn't going to take pics until I had changed them but cleaned her and she doesn't look too bad.

Washed it, clayed it, waxed it and loved it Smile Needs lexarse lights gone, wiper removing completely, started debading it once I'm off here back to finish that but was losing my temper with it.

Loads of other bits to come for it yet. Got some Cyclones just need to fit them once it has a working driveshaft.

2.0HDI

I am dying to lower it, I've always had lowered cars but this one must stay practical.

Is it LX spec?

Looks a neat example, you'll like the economy. Smile

What's going on with the grill/badge?

I don't know lol.

It has air con, auto wipers *that are f*cked* and climate control.

Think it was meant to have alloys but I'm guessing it's had chav wheels on at some point.

It's awesome on fuel got back from Leeds to South Derbys on a tenner.

They stop half way up the window on auto, the one wipe on the down setting just creeps there and back as its stops as soon as you let go.

Dicky contacts in the motor. There are various guides on what you need to do once you've opened it up, namely clean it and re-align the contact pins.

Or replace it haha.

I think it'll of had some gash 17s or something at some point that were worth far too much so got taken off and sold and replaced with some steels and awesome wheel trims!

The grille badge looks to be the wrong badge i.e. off another pug or the previous owner has gashed it on with tiger seal/silicone as there appears to be some black stuff round the edge of the badge where it is in contact with the bonnet.

Other than that and what's already been said - nice tidy example of a moonstone and its also nice to see this non masculine colour being driven by a female for a change Big Grin

Oh and welcome

It looks to me like a Dturbo spec HDi (as all 3 door HDi's are Dturbo spec)

The badge is original but the grille is bowed by the looks of it

You will probably need a hacksaw for the rear wiper Wink

Nice car good luck Smile

Don't sell her because you will probably not come back to the forum and I'm telling you this is probably the best car forum on the Internet in the UK in terms of banter friendship helpfulness trolling social scene and general pi55 taking......
If Carlsberg did car forums it would probably be this one Smile

Now has new bits all fitted, well has had for a while but couldn't post pictures until she got a wash!

Looking quite dirty...

Headlights, rear lights changed, new bonnet, now has new seats too Big Grin Had loads of bits off Spike2002! Epic thankies!
Still got to fit steering wheel, gearknob and prob a few other bits I've forgotten.

Spike2002's knob that he gave me for free, the first time I went round to get parts Wink I was so grateful I even went back to get a battery as mine gave up the will to live and the piece of crap French car tried to kill me on the M42.

[Image: IMG_0063.jpg] (ps not actual size it's smaller in real life)

Next is wheels they are in the boot but still needing tyres and more than likely spraying back to silver. Then new bumper to put on as you can see current one is half murdered.
