These vinyls you can literally screw up, heat up and bring it back to perfectly fine again.
Why didn't you remove the mirror caps to wrap them? I've wrapped countless body panels and mirror caps, never once had the sun shrink it down.

I did remove them. Hence why one is good and the other isnt. The one that wasnt just didnt have enough to wrap it right round!

Yeah the primer for edges maybe a good idea next time.
I did use heat though, but late on. A few guides online were like "NO HEAT" and others were like "USE HEAT"... I did use it, just late on! (the heat gun was there, part 1 shows bits I used)
and the soapy water is from the last time I did vinyl/stickers on rally cars about 7 years ago!
