Yep you read it right poetry...Anybody on here into it?
I personally love poetry and do write lots of it mainly because I'm a weird lady garden that can't express his feelings accurately through saying it straight out and I find it easier to express myself through my words.
We are alone,
we can't hear a sound
It's just us, no one's around.
You can cry in my arms
I will wipe your tears,
You can cry
I understand your fears.
No one will ever know our secrets
No one will take our dreams,
No one will take our souls
No one will know what our love means.
Our tears fall to the ground
We're angels, lost but never found...
Fountain of our blood in the middle of a dream
Our hearts are breaking,
but no one can hear us scream.
We're ghosts, without a face, but full of pain
I know that our souls died in vain.
Like angels we are...fallen from heaven
Dreaming of beauty and love in hell...
We're bewitched, damned,
Crying for the dying world,
Crying for our love lost in time, forever...
Tears are still falling to the ground
We're still angels...lost but never found.
This is a recent one of mine (finished about half an hour ago...Hot off the press!) so anybody into it, most of my stuff relates to my mind and the one whom I love some are dark, some are cheery others are just plain weird.
An example of one of my really dark ones...
I walk the face of earth once more,
a mindless puppet, my strings are torn.
The creaky bones, the bad eyesight,
yet the chance to turn wrong to right.
Wars-a-waging, old mans guilt,
the world's now on more than just a tilt.
Parents weeping, children slain,
bloody thoughts, fear will reign.
I look in the shadows, a creature did lurk,
he whispered to me, hiding a smirk.
"Thou shalt be killed if thee can't find,
the demon lurking in ye mind."
So off I ventured, to quench my thirst,
of corpses piled with hearts-a-burst.
And on that quest what did I see?
The wicked path of Destiny.
