My Cars
#1
hi all, I thought i'd write up a project post for my new car, but also show you all what came before...

Part 1-

my first car - Citroen AX, bog standard apart from a spoiler later on, and the (rare?) 106 3-stud alloys, here seen entering my first car show - FCS 2006 at the proving grounds Smile

after moving to uni in Croydon, I moved on through a few different models of ax, first a gt500,
[Image: 2007_0215dump20007.jpg]
she never ran, or saw the road, with a blown head, cracked block and no interior or electrics, she ended up scrapped when I bought this...

a 1992 Gti, which I tooled around in for about 2 years, and having gone to castle combe for a few shows, and my first track session, was 'unhappy' with how little I could do to it - it was too good with nothing to sort or fix... Confusedigh:

next came a stream of ax's, a couple of zx's and a xantia Smile

the xantia was my 12th car, and my 3rd diesel, for the 1st 2 months I had to drive it essentially as a NAD, as it kept popping boost hoses, when I fitted a boost guage I found out why..lol it'd been messed with, it had a modified 9? bosch pump, larger front mount, and only 28psi of boost Inlove it didn't even smoke...

alas, my wife then passed her test, and I needed something that we could both drive - in comes the ax again...lol can anyone see a recurring theme?

with a custom leather interior - made by yours truly Smile

which brings me to my most recent (and car number 16...lol)

Lol at the AX steering wheel, I remember you could introduce about 4 inches of play at the top of the wheel if you pulled it haha.

Interesting place to photograph your 306!

up to date, blimey that was harder than i thought, most of the photos i had are scattered around or don't exist, next thing to do is to go through the 3k+ photos of cars / shows and archive them properly Tongue
