Battery Relocation kit

Wanted: Battery Relocation kit

Wanting to move to lefthand side of a sedan boot. I do have 0awg audio cable but I believe that is not suitable? So anyone do them made up with a cut switch?

Don't use audio cable. Cheapest way would be to go to a scrappy and rip the battery wiring out of a BMW 3 series. They were located in the boot.

I know it's a bit pikey but couldn't you fashion some out of some jump leads?

Big No No, jump leads are designed for a short burst, the pikey who had my car before me had them as earth cables :S

Jump leads are a no no. They weren't designed for that use just as a jumper and not too be in constant use. Probably end up killing them

I have used jumpleads before but they just burned out. Why is 0awg audio stuff not suitable to use?

Do you do them crimped ready to fit? Will try measure this weekend but I still have interiour in so might be weekend after.

I have considered a bmw setup but local scrappys don't have any and I don't have a car to get to u pull it atm

You can get them in halfrauds and maplins apparently!
Prob cheapest to get them from an auto factors tho tbh!

Yeah crimped and solderd , then heat shrink the ends to make it nice and neat

An in the middle of putting a kit togeather for a wire tuck job on a mk2 golf
