Er, just remembered something about my brother's car you bought...

You may have wondered about a ticking noise from the passenger footwell.

If you remove the cable tie from the driveshaft, you'll find the noise stops.

Forgot to tell him I'd done it as he clearly didn't notice. Blush

Hadnt noticed the noise. Its amazingly quiet compared to the GTi6


Whats the juddering under braking, hadnt noticed till i was 80 miles down the road trying to brake for a services.

Did this to my dad when I was a kid, drove him mad for weeks! It stopped when he spent £600 on a new gearbox...

Still haven't told him 12 years later lol

I never noticed any noise from the driveshaft on the sedan and I drove it every day. Are you sure you cable tied the right car jonny? Wink The braking.....has always done that. tbh, i never thought much of it.
