I just painted my car, it's came out alright but it needs the lacquer flattened, I've been using 1500 on a DA but it's taking me forever and the pads don't last long at all, I was taking to some guy the other night and he says use 1000 grit on a DA which is fine but will this polish out ok or leave lines?

Yeah it should do mate, just don't go mental!
Get some G3 cutting compound and that'll take it out!

Yeah I've got g3, just don't want to end up painting it again lol
