hi all, just a quick question really as ive been told this could be numerous things, when i start the car, it chugs to life and sounds rough as nails till it gets warm, when it reaches around 70degrees, it starts chugging again but puffing blue smoke out, could this be the valve stem oil seals or something ? it will do this for about 2/3 minutes till it clears itself and im just starting to wander what it could be, im running it on veg and diesel if this has anything to do with it, thanks...

with running veg uinsure on your location but if its cold starting the veg wont help, use a higher ratio of diesel
blue is oil - maybe get some oil cleaner/additive

Blue usually means oil and could come from a variety of places. Turbo oil seals? Do you need to top up the oil?
I would avoid aditives with veg, it can do funny stuff like make fats drop out. This time of year I blend with 25% misfuel which I collect for free from places that run recovery trucks.

I'd still check the fuel filter. They can last a while or only a few hundred miles. Either way mine was starvation. Issues
