#1
Just worked out that since January this year when the car was MOT'd and put back on the road i have done.....

Jan 166,599
March 170,000
July 175,000
Sep 181,500

Considering my insurance policy states i do 6k a year...... I work that out to be 14k in just 9 months!!!

Anyone else do such a stupid amount of miles?

Im doing around 500 miles a week that works out around 26k a year lol be careful with the insurance thing tho they could check up on you and make your insurance void.... just a heads up plenty of people do it and get away with it tho

Average about 350 miles a week, been more than that lately though... Confused

But its ok, I hibernate for 6 months so won't go over my yearly insurance allowance. Wink

My insurance is down as 5k a year and that should be about spot on tbh. If I drive to work every day for a month I'd do 40 miles, and then add on an average of 350 miles of social driving every month.

When my engine went in last year, my car was on 151k, it's now on 173k...

I've already done 7k in the GTi6 in the 3 months I've been driving it :/

80,000miles per year normally 1-2k per week. Never under 1k per week. Done 20k in my combo in 2 months.

Edit - Combo died this morning only had 90k on bottom end was knocking and smoke everywhere.

2 of our berlingos went back back last week both 10plates had the 2 year. 1 had 167k on the other 159k.

Between 12,000 and 15,000 I should think. Recently had to upgrade my policy to say I did work mileage too, cost me another £65!
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

I've done almost 6k since I bought the 6 in March. My Insurance is 10K. Ooops

My round-trip to work each day is around 16 miles, 2 miles between mine and Scott's a few nights each week, then random trips to Niall & Grant, Bicester, Reading, my Grandparents in Chichester....

7k last year, hopefully around the same this year. Was like 15k the year before though due to my absurd 50-miles-each-way commute.

I've had my Dturbo 6 weeks, done just under 9,000 miles! I used a full tank/£75 in 3 days when I bought it.

I was working in cheltenham, 53 miles each way/106 mile a day, 6 days a week. And driving around to Hereford etc most nights with mates, I usually do 100 miles social driving a day...
