headgasket thickness

Wondering if anyone can advise me..

Getting a refurbed head, he said its only had a very small amount skimmed off, maybe a couple of thou? I think he said..

What thickness should I go for?

I just usually get thickest one that payen do steel laminate one i usually use, im sure someone will be along soon with maybe a better reply

i just ask what sizes they do and then pick biggest imo better for compression and will compensate for skims its had

Just get a standard 3 notch, the difference between thinest and thickest is naff all anyway, you honestly wont notice any difference which ever you run....its just text book stuff to bother mesuring it all up / picking the right one Tongue
