ph3 glove box

seams to be alot of talk of glove boxes so here goes. my lock for my glove box is fuucked and is held in by a screw to stop it from opening. how hard is it to change.

There isn't a real difference in the glove boxes through the phases, its the A/c or non-A/C models that differ greatly in depth

I guess you would have to remove your aircon from behind your dash or at least re locate it

literally pop the locks out from the inside bud, get a new lock from the scrappy and fit it where the old one was and snap the little plastic lock bit off inside and it will stay shut and also opens, you just cant lock it

With a bit of heat and careful separation you should be able to prise the 2 halves of the glovebox apart - I did on my ph1 swapped the locks over and bonded it back together with 2 people using 2 hot melt glue guns as you need to be quick or the hot melt goes cold quickly. I could of used tiger seal but never thought about it at the time.
