Spring removal.
#1
Before I say any more:

I WON'T BE DRIVING ANYWHERE!!!

But just to double check, there's no reason I can't take the springs off the shocks then put them back on the car is there? It'd just be until I get my coilovers and the car won't be driven at all.

Cheers guise x

You want be able to but the top mounts back on i wouldn't of thought as these rest on the springs? How about getting a couple of jake stands for now Big Grin

I agree with the axle stands tbh, don't think the shocks would appreciate the weight of the front end resting on them alone.

You should theoretically be able to do it though, afterall people snap springs all the time with so many potholes lol.

The shocks are scrap, 2 year old Bilstein B4's leaking like the proverbial sieve..

So I'm not worried for them, I just want the ability to move it back into the corner right up against a wall, if it's on stands it'll have to sit further out and be in the way.
