Is this the driveshaft
#1
Got a bad grinding kind of noise from the car when driving, Bad vibrations tho the wheel and pedals. I removed the wheel and apart from the brakes binding(all 4!!!) when i run it up in gears the noise is horrendous and seems to be coming from the inner bearing that runs thought the lower engine mount??

No play in the wheel so i am sure the wheel bearing is not the issue and the driveshaft itself. Cars done 170k and i can only assume its the original shaft plus i just drove from scotland to Leeds nonstop at some excessive speeds.

Anyone just confirm driveshaft?

Take the wheel off and see if you can wiggle the drive shaft up and down left and right, if it does then yeah it is lol

Is it the bearing the long drivers side driveshaft goes through? Could be loose and just need tightening up - 2x 10mm nuts on cam shaped bolts iirc - 5 min job to check.
