New member advice on straight through exhaust
#1
Hi all,

I’m New to the forum, I’ve got my first hdi a few months back, got myself some nice black cyclones and planning a stage 1 remap soon! Then looking into different exhausts.

What would the benefits of having a straight through exhaust for my Hdi be? Got a standard stock exhaust currently but I’ve seen the Hoffman ones on eBay for £45, I’d anyone could clarify the benefits or downsides that’d be great.

Also, a bit of advice on the sound of straight pipes. I’m after a bit of that tractor sound but don’t want to be too loud and sound like a yob!

They're generally not that loud. I ad a video but I can't find it anywhere.

There's plenty videos of them on YT though Smile

You might notice a difference in how the turbo spools up if you get a large diameter from the turbo back.
A moments silence please, for our brothers in the NAD-zone.
