I've owned the car for nearly 2 years and it's been absolutely fantastic. Never let me down! Averages 50mpg driving around town (don't tend to do masses of motorways but it's closer to 60mpg when I do)
It didn't come with much paperwork so since owning it I've given it the yearly services and replaced the cambelt, water pump, Droplinks, track rod ends, rear wiper arm etc, brake discs and pads all round, handbrake cables, decat etc. There's lots more but I can't remember at the moment.
The cars been lowered 50mm (ish) on brand new springs as I changed the wheels to a set of gti cyclones with Yokohama Parada spec 2's and the arch gap was horrendous.
Engine is standard apart from the decat, just regularly serviced. The only fault is occasionally it throws up and Eml for the TPS sensor, However it never effects the driving.
Interior is also standard. I've changed the door speakers to some vibe ones. Also fitted heated seats not long after I got it which work faultlessly on 5 stage adjusters. They take no time at all to warm up.
Bad bits : bodywork is very knocked about. Almost every panel has some sort of imperfection. Looks like some yob has trampled over the roof and bonnet which doesn't look great. Interior isn't too bad, just a few paint marks from a previous decorator and a worn drivers seat. There's also a large crack in the windscreen which has been there since I bought it, passengers window doesn't work and someone's snapped the key in the drivers door then superglued the lock back in after they couldn't get the clip on I guess.
Basically want to know what people think it's worth? If anything at all?
