So yeah anyone? I have a course up that way next week for two nights. Tuesday night and wednesday night. What to do in that area??

there is a free art gallery which i always liked to look around when i was in the city, and you can go around the old courts free as well.
Notts castle is interesting but more of a gallery these days and you have to pay to get in. Batman house is a little way out of the city but awesome loads of great food like bagelmash and barburito, and vodka revs is weirdly good as well. dont get shot!

thre is a BBQ place called Reds. Definitely go there. The Hilton is average. GBK and nandos are good. Bistro piere is good.

There’s an abundance of good restaurants in the city centre and there is free parking in various places in the evening.
There’s a Halloween theme in the square at the minute which might still be there that is good enough for a stroll around. Also if you’re that way inclined there’s two board game cafes. There’s always people about willing to play / teach you a new game. Their name escape me but google it and they should show up. CLUB RALLYE

Thanks for the info guys. Im only up there one night now as the company says they wont pay two nights. Might spend all night doing some live logging on the car and adjusting map after a good meal out

I know someone who used to be a ploice officer there. Apparently it's nicknamed Shottingham as it has gun crime levels second only to London.
That's all I know about Nottingham.

So funny story, i done the course. Turns out the course wasnt in nottingham!! It was in northampton. Epic fail on my behalf
