How low should I go on springs 306 2.0d

Im wanting to lower the car but dont know how low to go can you please post some pics of your lowered 306 and tell me how much its been lowered thanks

you pretty much have a choice fo 40mm or 60mm. 30mm on a gti. I would choose 40mm if you want to be lower and not scraping things. 60mm if you want to be noticeably low.

This is about 60mm springs on the cabby i have, may be breaking soon so theyll be up for sale as well Wink

I would say 30/40mm but i personally think 50/60 mm can look pretty good on the right car and wheels etc. If going 50/60mm i would say you want to go for uprated shocks or go for coilovers.

Can't quite remember how much it measured to now but hope it gives you an idea (it's on 14"s by the way)

Standard'ish about 10 or 20mm lower (slightly lower than the standard meridian jeep height)

I do scrape on speedbumps and the odd raised part of roads (like the centre of a country road), mainly the down pipe as it now looks slightly triangular but as you can see the sump is the same distance to the floor but no marks on that yet.
