My 306 has given up the go and I believe I require a HP PUMP as in tank pump still works car turns over just has no final oomph to start please help me

Get it on diagnostics... Could be a number of things... Often found the HP pumps to get worn...but actually rare to completely fail

There's no management light on would it still come up with a fault on diagnostics?

It should do, yes. Unless it's an ecu problem, in which case it will not work properly.
