Has anyone had an experience with or knows someone that has had experience with AET Turbos?
The Peugeot 306 is very much like forrest gumps box of chocolates, You never know what's going to f*ck up next.

Not entirely sure what the question is?
Are you looking to see if they'll 'work'? Whether someone has already fitted one? The right size? If no one has answered yet its doubtful. But you should be the first! Or, contact them for specific questions? www.aet-turbos.co.uk/contact

I was hoping that someone on here may have used them or at least have an idea of the company and whether or not they are good or bad. That was literally it. I went to a well known local diesel specialist where i live the other day to price up a turbo and they quoted £400 plus vat and that was for a reconditioned turbo with what they call a fitting kit, that doesn't include fitting or possible intake cleaning if the oil has gone through the intake. I'll see what these guys say at AET then price up someone to do the job.

Tbh anything much cheaper than that i'd be suspicious of the quality. Not heard anything of aet myself, sorry.

I've heard/seen some bad tales/examples of their mapping, but nothing about the turbo's
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

Dealt with them for years for Turbosmart products but not for Turbo's. A work colleague had a recon turbo from them for his Golf Tdi and never had any issues.

As for intake oil - it's pretty normal to have oil through there and you could clean it yourself? or ask nicely and they'll do it i expect.

So an update on this, the local garage i went to that quoted £400 plus vat for the recon turbo got back to me with the cost for the labour at £370 with all other parts eg. oil,oil filter and so on this turbo comes with a 12 month warranty.
i then spoke to aet and they quoted me £280 + vat and said that was a maximum cost if the turbo was repairable and this one comes with a 24 month warranty. when they say repairable what do they mean what is classed as repairable?
