pressure washers nilfisk or karcher
#1
I'm buying a pressure washer, snow foam lance and snow foam as well.

looking to spend less than £100 the two well known brands are Karcher and Nilfisk, and the models in my price range is the Karcher K2 (£50 off Facebook new) or the Nilfisk C120 (£80 off Amazon).

Anyone used either of these before? also any recommendations on snow foam would be good as well I've looked into it a bit and the Bilt Hamber stuff gets good reviews.

Most people on here don't recommend Karcher but I inherited mine about 4 years ago, it gets a lot of use/abuse and no faults so far!

Don't have a snow lance so can't advise there.

Thanks for the quick replies! I have read some really good reviews on the Nilfisk on Detailing World where its used specially for cars but I think i'll go for the Karcher because its £30 cheaper and its in the same town as me.

getting this snow foam lance

Nilfisk

Karcher use plastic pumps/connectors which go brittle over time.. also if they're stored in a shed/outside over winter with water left in them they can freeze and break.

I've got a 6 or 7 year old karcher pressure washer that has always lived in garages outdoors in both the UK and about 5 years of harsh german winters. Works great, cleans patios up like new etc. I've been meaning to get a snow foam lance.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

Karcher K2.99 here.. only issue i had is the little soap suction line came off the inside.. case of popping the plastic cover off (6 torx screws) and popping it back on.
never had any other issue, powerful and easy to use..

my only complaint is it wont dispense soap when under pressure (ie using the jet wash) if you use the integral soap bottle thingy

Iv had a karcher for about 7 years now never had a problem but from water my local pressure washer dealer says the newer models are poo, but saying that I'm on about 2k diesel hot water washers so it's probably got no relevance
