Well Chuffed with Patti

Wow 6 months goes quickly. Patti the HDi had her MOT today and passed with flying colours and no advisories which means she isn't going anywhere for 13 months at least.

So what do I do to enhance her now? Bearing in mind she is a workhorse and tows a trailer/lugs equipment around for my food business, I'm thinking

Stage 1 remap
Possible new driver & passenger Recaro's
Would love to change the steering wheel for a MoMo but airbag law I guess not?
Front Speaker upgrade as the rears aren't there often due to no parcel shelf and seats folded.
306oc sticker adding (ordered yesterday)
Possible rear window tints to limo

Anyone in London that could do the drivers door handle? It's a tad loose

Thoughts/ advice on the above and other suggestions welcomed.

Cheers

Stage 1 remap and a damn good service is always a good bet.

How much of the work will you be doing yourself?

Any photos of the car? Would help with recommendations Smile
Defo Stage 1 remap, Iv never looked back!
GTI6 steering wheel is really nice too, couldn't not have one now
Youll want some more supportive seats if your car is one of the lower spec ones as you will need them haha
Xsara mist jets a must in my opinion
Aero wipers also a good upgrade
Front speaker upgrade also well worthwhile
Just a few things ive done to mine which really make the car a lot better Smile

Service done when I bought her in October, only done 3k since then but tempted by the remap

I can't do much myself as no time/knowledge or space as parked in street

If you keep the seats down and parcel shelf out, you could make some custom speaker enclosures tucked away either side in the boot?

If it's a workhorse that regularly tows I'd fit GTi6 brakes and get a stage 1 map. Safety first and all that.

Went with Pro Steve, air & fuel filter change at the same time and he will make allowances for the milage so I don't kill it.

The trip back to London down the M4 should be fun
