Simple question
#1
If you couple the zx (I think they are the ones that are 25mm lower) and 40mm springs does that then equal a lowering of 65mm?

I'm probably being a retard with this one but just want to confirm it

So what will it lower by?
As people have mentioned before that the shock has a shorter body so will bring a standard spring setup down 25mm. So why wouldn't it when coupled with a 40mm lowering spring?

Not arguing, just intrigued

Basically your standard spring will be bought down 25mm due to shock shortness. (which I don't think is correct) but lets assume it is I could easily be wrong. When you lower your car on a standard shock it will be 40mm lower. When you put it on a shorter shock it will still be 40mm. The spring is larger than the original 25mm lowering. So you don't gain the extra 40mm.
If you were to swap from that 25mm low setup to 40mm you would only go down an extra 15mm.

Depends how they're shorter - as i understand it the shorter shock bodies on the b8s do reduce the ride height further because they change the length of the unit aside from the spring. I don't know how the zx shocks are shorter though, depends whether it's in the body or just telescopic travel.
