Ph3 front speakers

I was wondering if i can just change the front speakers to aftermarket and keep original tweeters without using a crossover?

Shall i just connect the speaker and tweeter wire onto a single spade connector on + & - terminals, which is pretty much how it is connected as standard?

Cool, so you had both speaker and tweeter wire going into the spade connector?
