Used to ride on the fields brought it off a old lady for £35 and it was mint!

Then destroyed it on fields/generally doing stupid things on and sold it for £65.

Then started to get into cars and bikes ended for me.

the police in sunderland had a right old crack down years ago, with people using these sadly, as they used to ride them through the green belt and on one of the local beeches.

Stef205 I used to race quite abit was one of the first people locally to use the associated tc3 when everybody else was still using losi street weapons

God miss my rc days used to quite like the carpet events in the winter months.

Believe most of my stuff would be no good anymore as they don't use ni cad battery's anymore.

I used to race the hpi rs4 3 which was the hpi equivalent, got a local shop to sponsor my engine and fuel costs then moved onto 1/8th rally cross and then 1/8th truggy which i really enjoyed. I have kept my ex race trucks and car and the rs4 hasnt been run since as its now a shelf queen. I find 1/5th 2 stroke better being more reliable and less maintenance for the odd use now and then but comes with a big price tag.

Think I'm going to do my bike license in the new year, rode off road a lot over the years and rode on a CBT with an XL125 but never got around to doing my full license. Really fancy a Top Gun style GPz900R Big Grin

Cool

I stayed with 1/10th electric as cheaper for me and my dad did quite well never got officially sponsored but used to get a few free bits and just the have a lathe and skim people's motors.

Before I quick I was going to start a tamiya trophy thing just for a laugh

Do you still race??

Well my toy hasn't seen an outing in well over 6 months now but its a new years resolution to get it out more often!

Been changed a bit since. The bushes in the forks were starting to wear and Marzocchi don't make them any more so i bought some bargain fox float 32s. Obviously got the green treatment. New set of pads all round so it actually stops now as the old ones were cooked and some super tacky tyres.
Oh and a set of very expensive anodised green bars which i got for virtually nothing because my wheel builder f*cked me about.
