Last winter-spec whoring of the year
#1
Back to uni on Wednesday, so figured I'd give the car it's first proper detail of the year Big Grin

Washed, cracked out the G3 to try and reduce a few scratches, whole car polished with SRP and waxed with Natty's Blue (now that it's not winter any more, the collinite has been put back into retirement). Tyres and black trim done with Megs Endurance and exhaust polished up a beaut with AG metal polish.

Alloys are going back on tomorrow (been polished and sealed with chemical guys wheel guard, which smells epic), new mirrors and front badge from Gareth7 should also be fitted tomorrow, with boot badge on the way and the rest of my plans for FCS will have to be done the week before lol (currently talking to a vinyl place ninja )

So, pictorzzz

Can see my other project peeking out of the garage, trying to fix a little 110cc quad Big Grin

Looking clean though mate. You gone through them rainsports already?! Or did you just swap them onto the steels?

Cheers guys!

Just swap the rainsports between the wheels, still got LOADS of tread left! Enough to save me when I hit standing water while overtaking a lorry a few nights ago :S They shift water like you wouldn't believe!

Agreed, rainsports are the best wet weather tyres i've ever used. Just a shame they've such soft widewalls or they'd be contenders for the PE2's crown

Doesn't have to be silly low.. back end is lower than the front though.. IIRC he has the exact same front suspension setup as me.. because he asked me age ago on .net before he bought it.. mine looks as if it sits lower though

It's just because my drive isn't level, it's exactly the height I want it, perfectly level and hadles a beaut.

Dan, I'm all for silly lows if it's not a driver's car (such as the Borat), but I like to drive this, so I don't want it slammed, as it hits the splitter on a lot of the roads around home anyway lol

And cheers strikeforce, it need a machine polish though really, to get rid of the slight scratches and swirls all over it!

Looking good, really wish mine was as shiny. Although it'd help if I polished it before waxing...
