Got a jubilee on mine and it seems to work alright

Why can't you get the clip on?

have used zip ties with much success in the past, but now have the crimper tool for doing the proper clips

the proper clips need a special tool for tightening, which to be honest is worth getting if you're going to do a few in your lifetime

you'd have to be certain if using a jubilee clip that the head where the screw is doesn't foul on anything when the driveshaft rotates. zip tie is much easier tbh!

jubilees are hateful on boots.

cable tie will suffice in most cases.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.

As much as I didnt like the first time I used one as a temp fix...zip/cable ties have always done the trick for me.

Jubilee is likely to cut the rubber

Never had a problem using the proper clips to be honest. Just use a pair of side cutters to add the tension.
But yea cable tie ftw if it has to be done!!

as long as the cv boost isn't leaking grease you'll be fine, doesn't matter how its secured iirc
