its runing a lucas pump i've turned the fuel up turbo was already done
(don't understand why) and it goes a lot better but still dose my weekly work run on £20 Smile not seeing more then 1.1bar on the gauge (know thats standered) it was running 0.7 before i started the cars done 197K so i have a 97K turbo kicking about might try changing that also have a straight through exhaust system kicking about don't plan on spening any money on it other then servicing bits Smile

this week task was a van for this shiz

so at the moment it has one seat & metal floor were the seats use to be in the back

also wile a bit drunk
we jazzed it up with some glow in the dark wheels

plans are to empty all the camping gear out of it.. i'm selling my 4 door 306 at the end of the month so will be swapping the 60mm lows off the front of that so the 4 door is back to stock
at some time i'll be teaching my self to weld as the front floors/chassis is missing a far bit of metal on the scrapper to

just picked up 2 wings boot lid 2 bumpers and a front panel from a gti6 for the costly sum of £8.00
so should have a back window bumpers that don't point down at the floor and non wide arch wings soon fitted
instead of spraying them i'll just make a sticker up saying "spot the new bits" to keep the costs low
need to swap the turbo to I think as lots of pipes are full of lots of oil and the smoke goes from blue~gray~black as you go up the revs Rolleyes

also with the pump adjusted got 160miles to £20 on last weeks work run from light to light coming on then going off so far win win

little up date

cleaned the racepug out off dog hair and work gear (well the front any way fook doing the back)

put 1k in the glove box went for a spin with the misses and then this
[Image: CIMG9889_zps24a1bbb4.jpg]

Smile

also started work on the non gti 6 car now i said when buying it
"you wont see it ripped apart on the form and flogged off for bits etc"

but f*ck me bodged isn't the word.. this was going to be a quick turn around and use car but after using it 3~4 for 2~3 miles it needs pulling apart and doing properly.. (never knew a xud engine not to start) so its been sat on the misses drive way till last week when i got it home and in the yard
so i'm starting from the back and working to the front

take one drill (ok 2 as the battery died) remove arch liner and clean off

put rust treating shiz on wait for that to dry then underseal wait anther 2 days for that to dry and refit arch liner
wont bore you all with other pics you get the idea the hole car will be done this way as i plan on keeping it well the misses will nick it but still wont be selling it.

wile waiting for underseal to dry remove pipes that are not needed and not just put screws and bolts in the end!
attach the filler pipe to the tank properly
[Image: CIMG9876_zps92dd8b75.jpg]

pipes need to go in some more exsplanes why the filler is flapping about insted of sitting nice in the hole in the rear 1/4

i'll up date with more when there is more done

little update the race pug is defo past saving sadly so dawned on me tonight on my way home i have a month to sort out a cheap to run car for the work run so cracked on with the Family pug

[Image: CIMG9921_zps6419add2.jpg] In tank filter be niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice Rolleyes

[Image: CIMG9922_zpsd2c72a12.jpg] inline filter be intresting

[Image: CIMG9923_zps1b93032e.jpg] cleaned the tank one up and the contacts on the gauge sender new filter fitted filled it with redex started it up let it run for 25secs then shut it off
cleaned up the surface rust and rust treated that on the underside pulled the back wheels up cleaned up all the rear suspension and soaked with wd40 for tomorrows games ninja

when the race pug runs out of tax i'll pull it off the road and use it for parts for the non gti6 as buy the time i've shopped about its looooads cheaper to just brake the race pug up
