Expanda-Foam Car Modification
#1
yes you read the title correctly, found this on t'interweb and though i would share it for ***** and giggles.

kind of makes me want to go and buy some expanda foam now though. The finished car looks insane.... starting to think my 306 could do with some 30" chromes on it!

anyone fancy giving it a go with a 306 Big Grin

How did he get that finish ontop of that foam... Surely he must have fibreglassed over the whole thing?
That expanda-foam would be porous as hell after he had been around shaping it.

I thought he was going bugatti style too as soon as i saw that grill on the front.

I wonder if this would work for custom boot builds - speaker setups etc.

i've seen it sed to sculpt wide body / wide arches onto stuff, but not really sensible to just skim and paint, ideally you'd take a mould of the end product and transfer it over properly

Lol, there would be so much dust if he ever crashes it. That poly foam stuff is pretty heavy when it sets too.

Fair play for being creative n shit, but nice it is not
