A tourque wrench that goes down to 30nm they can lend me? Only need it to do the head bolts on my car. I've got a BFO one that starts at 60

Mine goes through 26 to 130 odd. You know this too you muppet 'cos you were surprised it went so far.

I assume its so that you can do 30nm, 60nm, then 270*? I've always just done it so that you do it yourself a bit, then go for 60 then the 180* then a further 90*... So I don't have to use a pissy torque wrench...

Its fine doing that though, only reason they do that is to make sure you evenly do it up, just use feel a bit until you get to the min setting of your torque wrench.. Auto data says the 1.8 is 30nm, 60nm, slacken 360* then 100* then another 100.
Will double check it against the Haynes book of lies and see what they say. Wrench and angle gauge turned up this morning. Money I didn't have but useful tools to havei suppose!
