2.0L HDI
#1
So what does everyone think? I've got a 1.8 GLX auto at the moment and I'm currently on my way to pick up my second 306 in a month a 2.0L HDI.

Is this a good move or not?
What can I do to it? :-)

I've just driven it 183 mile back to Sunderland where I'm working this week. It's got a ridiculously jerky clutch which sounds like the cable to me.

I got a mile and it decided it didn't want to have the gear shifter connected to the gearbox anymore so left me stranded until I found a garage with a ramp and they sorted it for me. I couldn't get to it on the roadside. But I need new linkages as they are alightly worn apparently. It needs new rear discs. And fronts I believe.

I thinks it's going to be a road going squeeze around work project car haha

Clutch cable, linkages and discs is a mornings work tbh!

Though the jerky clutch is probably the clutch itself tbh, the pressure plate springs get heavy over time if its still original.
