hi everyone just signed up to the forum as I currently own a 206 1.1 but im after a 2.0 hdi in autumn ( I would buy one now but we have no room). I've looked into remapping the hdi and I intend to go to stage 2 one quick question is this 406 inlet pipe the correct one I don't mind buying the inlet manifold if this is the correct pipe. Much appreciated if anyone can help

Sounds like you know what it is you need. And your right. Keep looking they will come up. Have a look for people breaking hdi's on ebay. Get them to email you a pic before you buy.

You don't need the whole inlet just the forward facing elbow, that one has got the later forward facing elbow on by the looks of it ( the one with the air doser on ), but looks like they have taken the air doser bit off it.

This is the later one with the air doser on:

And this is the one without:

Has yours got an air doser as standard, iirc it was only the later hdi's that had them my x reg has.
You might be able to get them new from pug, but it wouldn't be cheap !

Looking on service box the older style one with out the air dozer is £51.78 with the vat from PUG

The other one the later one is £64.69 and that is without the air dozer the air dozer is another £107.42

sorry im after one for a 306 for a fmic buying parts now but i cant get a car atm because we have no room with my current car on the drive. Is there any chance you could link me to the first one please the air doser isn't essential in the setup and the first is ideal thanks

Yeah i know your after one for a 306 to fit a fmic so you use the 406 one.

From Pug 00000382L9 Old style with out air doser 51.78 GBP

But you would be better off getting one from a local scrap yard or ebay when one comes up as it will be a lot cheaper.
