Just had my clutch changed, Mine was literally on the floor before it was biting. Not sure if just changing the cable will help .. Are they not auto adjusting ?
On the 306 waiting list.

just gave it a test, it would rather stall than slip, its like the self adjuster has not reset after a new clutch, is it possible to manually push the ratchet back in?

Also heard that if you spray a bit of wd40 onto the cable it will work it's way up to the ratchet it helps with the problem. Again not confirmed but something to look into.

should fit a new cable with a new clutch Smile

a few hard stamps on the pedal might help but I doubt it will in this instance!

Few hard stamps will make it tighter! If you push it down then let go of the pedal so it springs back a few times, that'll loosen up the cable and then it'll auto adjust once you start driving
