1.9 TD Alternator which one?

Is there any other cars that have the same one.

My one only charges the battery when over 2K revs. So looking to get another one.

check the small wire is connected.

yes i checked it, and its connected. it does have a cut in the wire about 20 cm back from the alt. and can see the wire, which looks dark. possible problem. suppose i could put a choc bloc in and see what happens,

Have a look at the ones from the old 406 xud's. I believe they had a higher rated output....
