Broken Drivers seat
#1
Sooooo having no luck recently!! I heard a crack as I got out my car Friday, get back in later on in the day, notice something isn't right by the noise when I sat in my car. Whilst driving I have to apply the brakes a little heavy and the left side of my seat is moving forward, take a look and find this:

The seat is a full leather one out of a cabby. Anybody know if I can buy this part brand new, get it from another seat or does it have to be specifically from the same seat or will a weld be good enough?

Cheers in advance

Best bet is to weld it, flat disk the paint off for a nice strong weld Smile

I'd offer to do it for you if you were local.

Get a fireproof soldering mat or a leather apron to protect the seat, and get the weld done nice and quickly.

Edit: Or just remove the subframe, it's not difficult
Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.
