My 2.0 Phase 2 XSi - £400 buy!

Bought this in September after seeing it near my house. Phase 2 2.0l XSI. Was up for £450.00 with 72000 miles! Was a bit nervous at first as the Mot was nearly up (only 30 days left!). Gave the guy £400.00 for it in the end..

Known problems when bought:
Central locking bouncing - annoying as hell!
Radio working at all times - could not be switched off unless fuse was removed!
Slight blow on exhaust

All problems were solved fairly simply! The central locking was fixed by soldering a wire onto the central locking ecu board.
The radio was solved by just replacing the head unit - something I wanted to do anyway!
Upon MOT, I made the guy aware that the exhaust was blowing, but I could not find the hole! He said there was a minor hole, which he patched up with some HT paste. So now it has 12 months MOT - yay!

A few things done recently

Debadged rear

Colour coded protector strips - hand sprayed, turned out okay.

Will be doing a few further things to the interior over the next few weeks.
Also will be adding a cone filter and sorting the exhaust out properly,
As there is a nasty rattle at low revs.. Read that it could be something to do with the CAT? And no, Nothing to do with the one in the above picture either... Any help would be appreciated.

Finish colour coding the rear boot wing, (today)

K&N 57i induction kit is due on Tuesday.

Still not too sure what to do about the exhaust.. Don't know whether to just buy a complete new system :p

From then on.. I don't know! I may look for inspiration from others on here!
