not many people go for the 1.6 (although i have one) and i dont think that many people come from southhampton so i think you might have to widen your search slightly lol.

Body work. If your thinking of keeping your car then dont bother with engine modds. Make it look different and make it stand out from the rest.
You can go for euro or rat look or felt spec or concourse.
Just giving ya some ideas...
