The wastegate issue usually is an annoying noise until the linkage wears enough that the actuator can't close the valve enough and you get persistent boost deviation below setpoint faults.
But yeah, it's not a huge issue, just an annoying noise. I'd be super wary of $49 maps though lol - those MSD80s are complex bits of kit and if someone has been in playing with the knock control, timing and boost control - it's gonna end up screwed.
