Clutch pedal clicking noise/feel

My pedal makes a click noise and feel every now and again.

Is it the cable self adjusting or just getting caught on something do you think?

Seems to have a bit more play before the clutch starts to get hard when you press it since I first had it.

It's likely f*cked and causing this problem. My clutch cable broke after mine did it.

so this spring just pushes the pedal back up but if you take it out the disphram spring on the clutch bascicsly brings the pedal back up

Yep. It's meant to make the pedal easier, or something to that effect, but they get seized when old, or broken. There should be a thread floating about by cspellowe that has a load of info.

It had a lot of grit stuck to it but was quite oily so my brothers dad who had it before me must of had the same problem and temporarily fixed it by greasing it up but then little bits of grit stuck to it.

Pedal feels a lot better now. Thanks

I just did mine. Way better stops the juddery way the pedal use to return.
