Mechanical sympathy of a brick. And road awareness skills of a toaster...
This was all after I was out the car, Stu was saying how much he loved it when I was in the car...

		I was enjoying it.
Till I had the spanish inquisition from the po po. 55/56 in a 50. Why you on trade plates, where'd you get the car, whose car is it, where you going. That took up 45 minutes.

Get to Chipping Norton, stop off in a petrol station for some caffeine, scrape on the way out, think nothing of it. There's a diversion around the town, over the biggest speed bumps known to man - the minor boost leak turns into a complete boost leak.

Carry on out of Chipping Norton, Coal everywhere. Coming up the hill, drop a cog fuel cut kicks in. I try in vein to bump it, nothing.

Pull off, turn it off, leave it 5 mins, start it, nothing.

Leave it another 5 minutes start it, perfic.

Every down change, every hill, every roundabout, every junction - fuel cut. And not bumpable fuel cut, proper stop it and wait fuel cut.

 FML.

Wouldn't have had that problem with a VAG.
That'd have blown up before we got to the M40.

I've never seen Stu smile so much driving a 306... He was loving it...
And I know that deep down he has love for that car because it breaks down religiously, is low, there are numerous things wrong.. But that's why it's so epic!!!

Vaughan worked his magic on fitting the FMIC and mounted one of the hoses to the floor so it wouldnt rattle against the sump then realised he actually needs to be able to move the car so just drove off and left it all dragging on the floor
