Non Starter........sometimes

Sometimes i put the key in the dash lights come on, turn the key and nothing at all, and after the third of fourth go she fires up.

Doesn't do it all the time.

its a 1995 1.9 non turbo 306.

Sounds like an earth issue.

I'm having the same issue but with a Rallye, The starter motor doesn't kick in until a second or two turning the key, This morning however she failed to start 3 times.

I'll be trying a little experiment tomorrow as i think it may be something to do with the ignition barrel (Pushing it in far enough?)
