That mot tester was what we in the industry call a "lady garden".

Niall kindly donated me wheels/standard exhaust to get the car through the mot - so going to wind the coil overs up to sort out the seating issue and steering, fit the exhaust then stick it in for a retest on Tuesday!

Vaughan got a spare light board (sure they are the same though the phases). That could well be the cause of your electrical gremlins!

Drill a few small holes in the base of the light.

No I thought I had a spare set of ph3 lights, but not sure where I've put them..
Painful as it's the last thing that needs to be done to get the old girl back on the road!

That thing is f*cked, 3 pages of fails, hope it was sufficiently cheap to warrant it.

Er no it isn't, did you read them? The tester was clearly a penis, he failed it because the alarm was going off and advised because it had standard side skirts

The second test I had was much more accurate, and everything bar the stupid f*cking flashing tail lights has been fixed in 2 hours this afternoon.

Erm Dum, it was my car, I think I know better than you. Yes the beam is cambered, as most do when they're lowered. Find me an original phase 1 that isn't. Vaughan knew this.

The brakes are basically brand new, there was an apparent issue with a hose that I wasn't aware of.

Tbh the beam isn't that bad, nowhere near as bad as it was on the black 6 by any means.
And yep as said brakes are absolutely fine, handbrake failed but they always do - and the brake line was behind the drop link which just needed unbolting, moving in front of the drop link, then bolting back up.. really not an issue!

Well, last issue sorted.
When you had the lights on, if you indicated, the tail light would flash with the indicator.. so I cut the earths on the tail light looms and earthed them to new points with stronger wire.
It is still flashing very very faintly, but nowhere near as bad as before where it was just on/off.. hopefully they'll give me the benefit of the doubt, at least I tried!
