Digital odometer message

When I put the ignition on my odometer reads 13600 and then goes off to show the mileage. There is always a spanner light showing so is the 13600 a service code for peugeot to make you go there for a service so they can reset it like renault does.

It's a 306, there's nothing clever about it. It means you're 13600 miles over due a service.....

Hopefully someone has just forgot to reset the light!

Ye it belonged to my brothers dad and he services it every year sometimes 2 or 3 times depending on his mileage. How to you reset the light.

Key off.
Press and hold milage reset button
Turn key to ignition (not start)
Watch it count from 10 - 0 and reset
Turn ignition off

Spanner light should be off next time you start.
