Roughly how many degrees should I be able to twist the aux belt at its longest run? Mine will go to 90 degrees quite easily but I'm not sure if its tight enough..

Has the belt been tensioned up properly?
For an HDi: Pull back and lock off the top auto tensioner, loosen the lower elliptical tensioner, adjust so it takes up the slack and retighten, then release the top tensioner - it will set the correct tension itself.

Ok I think I've down it backwards then, will sort it tomorrow.
