Fitting a gti manifold
#1
What am I going to need? Obviously a gasket, but what else? Are bolts different on a gti than a xsi? Also heat shield or heat wrap? Any other gaskets?

It goes manifold - cat - middle - backbox yeah?

And will the lambada sensor from the gti work or should I swap it for the xsi one and will they all fit te same?

You might want to put in the title that its exhaust manifold.

Buy new manifold bolts cos iirc theyer copper so you may kill them removing them and also an "exhaust fitting kit" as that has a new wire gasket and tensioning springs

When i did mine, i managed to reuse bolts, luckily as didn't kill them, also the gasket as was still in good condition, i did heat wrap the manifold, but if i were to do it again i think a heat shield would be better, because all this worry about wrapping the mani wrong, I reused the same lamba, also i left the exhaust on the manifold, so you may get away with reusing that, can't guarantee reusing all the things will work, as depends on condition of them all, i was lucky.
