Started my car up this morning and just happened to look underneath and noticed smoke coming from under the engine. It kicks out white smoke on cold start up but what's probably leaking? And am I looking at an easy/cheap fix?

Probably just the exhaust blowing from the down pipe you may need to tighten up the two bolts that hold it on.

Is it connected with a solid pipe or flexible pipe? Would a decat pipe join onto the bottom of the manifold?

Its like a flexible flange type thing, with a conical steel gasket inside. Mine had no gasket when i took it off. Then the bolts have springs and washers on them.

If it's coming from the bay could be exhaust manifold gasket.

Just had a look under the car properly - the exhaust is leaking from the weld just in front of the cat!
