Intercooler pipe with gauge take off.

I need a 2.5 inch ally pipe with a T off for an 8mm pipe. Anyone know where I can get one? All I can find is one with a 25mm T off which is far too big.

My top tip? Get a straight pipe and a tyre valve. Drill a hole, pop tyre valve through, remove core. Hey presto, one take-off.

Other option is to get one of these:

Ebay clicky

Pop a hole through a silicone hose and bolt this through. My intercooler system can hold up to 40psi with one of these with no issues.

Thanks for that, I've just ordered one of them. Didn't realise you could attatch them to silicon, should be pretty easy to fit Smile

Very easy, and they seal well too when done up tight. I used a tyre valve for my LDA takeoff/boost gauge and one of those for my MBC.

Aye but £10 is a hell of a lot cheaper than trying to find a replacement hard pipe with a nipple attached!

Seems so, it says it comes with both rubber and metal washers.

What i'd do is take a large hammer and flatten a section of the pipe so it's a flush fit

I drilled and tapped a spare lda nipple onto one of the ally pipes, holds up fine
