I'm not entirely sure why he's got massive throttle plates above the superchargers on a Diesel engine...?

3 x 8v71 detroit diesel engines.

8v means its a v8 and 71 is the cubic inches per cylinder.

Two stroke diesels are epic.

so each engine is 9.3l, total is almost 28l or about the same as rolls royce metior/merlin
