I now know how the a/c pump is best removed on my 6 (rallye aux kit) but has anyone removed power steering pump, pipes and replaced the rack to a quick rack non power steering? sounds daft but I'm thinking about drag in the engine and I need a power steering pump and I'm not that fussed about power steering I only need it when parking lol

yeah EPAS from a saxo/106 is an easy swap. I had it on my black HDi and was gonna do it on the 6 before i wrote it off as an excuse to scrap it.

Easy. Just needs 12v and ground run via a relay controlled by the ignition switch

What Niall said. On a 106 it's run off the alternator I believe as when my aux belt went I had no PAS.
